Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses and the state’s community colleges have announced a new collaboration aimed at expanding educational opportunities in Pennsylvania and removing barriers to degree completion among college students. The collaboration builds upon long-standing relationships between the campuses and the community colleges and a shared commitment to access and affordability in higher education.
Andjela Kaur, assistant teaching professor of rehabilitation and human services at Penn State Lehigh Valley, recently completed an Experiential Digital Global Engagement (EDGE) project with students from her employment strategies for people with disabilities course and partners from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. EDGE is a project-based international virtual exchange program adapted from the State University of New York’s Collaborative Online International Learning program.
The Blue and White Society at Penn State Lehigh Valley is teaming up with Meals on Wheels of the Lehigh Valley by collecting food items for emergency packages. Shelf-stable items will be accepted until Feb. 9 in the Alumni Office, Room 148, at the Lehigh Valley campus.
